Marty Ordman is a marketing professional working with clients like Dole Packaged Foods, New Frontier Foods, Disney, The PGA Tour, Evergreen Trading, and the Captain Planet Foundation. He develops strategic marketing programs and public relations/promotional initiatives for his clients.
Marty was with Dole Food Company in Westlake Village, CA for 29, most recently serving as Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications. While at Dole, Marty directed all corporate marketing initiatives including brand development, advertising, promotions, digital, sponsorships and events. He was also responsible for all corporate communications for the Company.
As a key member of Dole’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) worldwide team he directed many special initiatives from the Chairman’s office. In addition, Marty oversaw the corporation’s consumer services, test kitchens, and charitable foundations. He worked very closely with the Dole Nutrition Institute to develop programs that educated consumers on the health benefits of fruits and vegetables.
Marty started his career at Flair Communications Agency, a marketing firm based in Chicago. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is a past chairman of the Produce for Better Health Foundation and was on their executive committee for many years. He was a key member of the Association of National Advertisers Brand Marketing Committee. He volunteers at FOOD Share of Ventura County and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Los Angeles. He lives in Malibu, CA with his wife Jamie.
